About the project:

As a Software Developer Engineer Test, you will work directly on an existing Appium framework in TypeScript. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that the Roku app's test suite is up-to-date and functional and maintains a high-quality standard across various devices. This role involves collaborating closely with the development team to maintain, update, and expand the test coverage for all Roku features.

You will be able to:

  • Assimilate the existing Appium testing framework (TypeScript) to support the Roku application.

  • Maintain and expand automated tests for new and existing features to ensure a consistent user experience.

  • Troubleshoot, debug and resolve issues within the test suite to guarantee the reliability of automated tests.

  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to prioritize and ensure full coverage of critical features.

  • Work across various device types to ensure app functionality, with a particular focus on Roku devices.

  • Utilize GitHub Actions to manage CI/CD workflows and effectively deploy automated test updates.

  • Leverage Atlassian tools for project tracking and documentation (JIRA, Confluence).

What will help you succeed in this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ Years of experience with Automation Testing (Selenium).

  • 3+ Years of experience with JavaScript.

  • 1+ Years of experience with Appium.

  • 1+ Years of experience with TypeScript.

  • Advanced English Level is required for this role as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
